Nov 19: Week in Review

Welcome to our Week in Review, where we let you know some of the news happening with our factories, as well as what we have been doing around the community.

Randell is always improving. They recently made numerous improvements in order to help our environment. This includes converting dozens of models from the R134a to the R513a. This will create a 631 Global Warming Potential (GWP). The previous R134a had a 1430 GWP. This started on November 5, 2018.

We are coming up on that icy time of year. With so many ways to keep people away from the stores, what happens if disaster strikes? Master-Bilt has an article on how best to keep your food and customers safe. You can also check out their Master Controller which can keep you up to date on how your walk in is performing, even when you are off site.

Already have walk ins or reach ins? Get NotifEye from Cooper-Atkins to help keep track while off site.

Cooper-Atkins came out with a new product called the KwikSwitch. This switch style thermocouple can hook up to any Type K probe to give you a portable and durable option in your kitchen.

Appropriate to this time of year, here is a list of ways to practice gratitude year long. Implementing gratitude into a company culture has incredible benefits for morale and productivity.

As we wrap up our first Week in Review, have a happy and blessed Thanksgiving. We at Davis & Associates are immensely thankful for all the hard work food service workers puts into the season, especially those who have to work through the holidays. You restore your guests through your generosity of time.
